We have compiled a list of common questions to help serve you better. If you have another question, please email us directly at:

  • What is the legal age to purchase?
    In Alberta the legal age is 18, In Quebec the legal age is 21 and all other provinces is 19 years old. Upon your first order, we will pay the additional fee to have Canada Post check your id to pickup the package and it will only be released to those of legal age.
  • What if my package does not arrive?
    Orders are shipped by Canada Post Xpresspost and tracking numbers are sent out nightly before 6pm MST. You will receive your order in 1-4 business days. Please allow an extra couple of business days if you live in a remote area. Shipping fees are $20 for orders under $150. For orders over $150 (after discounts and before taxes), shipping is free. Your delivery is guaranteed - we will deal with Canada post if a package goes missing in transit and ensure you get it or a new one sent. (except for residents of Yukon, Nunavut, Northern Quebec or if you provide an inaccurate/incomplete address). WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR RETURNED MAIL DUE TO INCORRECT/INCOMPLETE ADDRESS (but when it returns, we will re-ship but you will be responsible for the new shipping cost) We are also not responsible for stolen packages once delivered. If you live in an area that may have a risk of mail theft, we reccomend getting a signature upon delivery to prevent this. Canada Post doesn’t accept or ship during holidays and long weekends. Please note - you are responsible for entering the correct shipping address.
  • How will my order be packaged?
    Your order will be discretely packaged and vacuum-sealed to protect and maintain your privacy. We ship using Xpresspost mailers, standard padded envelopes or nondescript boxes with no indication of what is inside. We do not use fancy packaging, so we can offer you amazing prices.
  • What will happen with my order if I do not submit payment?
    Once your order has been placed, on checkout you will receive payment instructions. The next step in the process will be to submit an Interac E-transfer. Your order will be kept "On Hold" till we receive your E-transfer. If we do not receive your payment within a few hours, your order will be cancelled and you will have to place a new order. We do try to reach out with reminders before shipping. We want everyone's orders to get delivered as fast as possible.
  • How can I pay?
    Payment is made using Interac E-transfer. If you use online banking with a Canadian bank or credit union, then sending a transfer takes just a couple of minutes. If you choose to pay with Tangerine's FREE transfer, the payment can take several days. We will only ship you order after payment has been deposited. Instructions will be provided with your online invoice and orders ship only after E-Transfer have been received. If you are new to Interac E-transfers, please visit
  • Is it safe to order from Onja?
    We’re one of many online dispensaries in Calgary (there are hundreds in Canada and growing) that are NOT operating under the federally-approved medical marijuana system. To qualify under the federal system, you’ll need to get a doctor’s approval and Health Canada’s permission to purchase from one of the 26 licensed producers. We enjoy the ability to purchase from our long term distrubutors with high quality product. There are hundreds of companies who have been shipping weed in the mail since the 90’s.
  • Does my purchase show up on my bank statement?
    When you send an email transfer, you can program in any name you would like. The only thing that will show on your statement is that you sent an email transfer to that payee.
  • I ordered on Friday night when do I get my tracking info?
    All orders placed on a weekend or a holiday are shipped the next available business day. We do ship every weekday. If you order before 10am (MST) your package will be shipped same day. Sometimes orders later in the day can make same day shipping, but we can't promise that. After all orders have been shipped, tracking numbers are sent out at the end of the day. So If you order Friday night, you will get a tracking email from us on Monday end of day.
  • How long until my package arrives?
    Canada post only ships on weekdays. Calgary (and many Alberta) deliveries are often 1 day. Most Canadian deliveries are 1-2 business days. If you live in a rural area, shipping can take longer. This part is out of our hands and is dependant on Canada post. We do however always pay for XPRESS post - to aim to get your package to you as soon as we can. You also recieve a tracking number so you can keep an eye on when to expect it.
  • I am looking to place a first time order but I am unsure.
    We understand it can be uneasy to send an email transfer to a new company. We are very proud of our customer service and try to make the process as easy as possible.Try us out with a small order and we are confident you will love the service and the quality.
  • Can I place an order and make payment in a few days?
    Yes, but we prefer you to pay when placing your order as we can not gaurantee your exact items will still be available. We keep our stock as up to date as possiable and sometimes can sell out of a full strain in under 24 hours. If you want to ensure you get your items, please send payment as soon as you place your order.
  • Edibles and the heat!
    In the hot summer months, there is a chance that heat sensitive items (gummies, shatter and chocolate etc.) can be effected when left in a hot mailbox. This is out of our control (as we keep all our stock cool) and we do not take responsibilty after it has shipped. To prevent this, pick up packages as soon as you can and avoid leaving them in the mailbox. If the heat has caused damage, use the fridge to cool them back down and enjoy!
